Research Scientist, Center of Food and Fermentation Technologies
Mari-Liis is a research scientist at Center of Food and Fermentation Technologies (TFTAK) and specialises in plant-based product development. She has a MSc in applied chemistry and biotechnology from Tallinn University of Technology. The main focus of the research work at TFTAK is to develop new plant-based meat and dairy products with high sensory qualities and enhanced nutritional value. Mari-Liis has also worked with several vegan organisations to raise awareness and promote plant-based lifestyle.
