
Peter Stogios, PhD
Peter Stogios is a Senior Research Associate at BioZone at the University of Toronto. A structural biologist and biochemist by training, Peter manages a protein structure-function and engineering lab that is studying major biology and public health issues, including sustainable chemistry, agriculture, and infectious diseases. Peter has published articles in Science, Nature Communications, Cell Chemical Biology and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Peter is utilizing bioinformatics, structural biology and protein engineering to discover and improve growth factors for use in clean meat production. In his spare time, Peter is a diehard (and long-suffering) Toronto Maple Leafs fan, blogger, bicyclist, and Apple fanboy.
