
Stephanie Feldstein
Stephanie Feldstein is the Population and Sustainability Director at the Center for Biological Diversity. She leads the Center’s work to highlight and address threats to endangered species and wild places from unsustainable human population growth and overconsumption. She created the innovative Take Extinction Off Your Plate campaign, which promotes Earth-friendly diets higher in plant-based foods and lower in meat and dairy. Her work has been featured in The Huffington Post, NPR, Salon, The Guardian, The Washington Post, and more.
Previously Stephanie worked for Change.org, where she helped hundreds of people start and win online campaigns to protect animals and the environment. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and has more than 15 years of experience in advocacy, outreach and communications, with a focus on animals and the environment. She is the author of The Animal Lover’s Guide to Changing the World (St. Martin’s Griffin, 2018).
